The Gershwin Collection for Solo Guitar (Book & CD)

A selection of 16 Gershwin's pieces for solo jazz guitar. George Gershwin was one of the most famed songwriter of the Broadway scene in the 20s, 30s and 40s, and has composed ones of the most beautiful tunes. On the CD included, the author, Howard Morgen, plays finger style on steel strings a la the great Joe Pass and Martin Taylor, although the arrangements can be played on a nylon-stringed instrument as well.
